Refund policy
Thank you for supporting Letter Box. Because each letter is custom-created, personalized, and mailed on your behalf, we operate under special conditions for returns and refunds. Please review our policy below:
No Returns
Since our products are a personalized handwritten correspondence delivered through the mail, we do not accept returns. All sales are considered final once an order has been processed. As no returns are accepted, there are no return shipping costs associated with our products.
Subscription Cancellations
- Before your next billing date: You may cancel your subscription at any time before your next billing cycle to avoid being charged again.
- After your billing date: Once payment has been processed, your upcoming letter will still be written and mailed, and the charge will not be refundable.
Refunds
We generally do not offer refunds, as each letter is custom-created and cannot be resold or reused. Exceptions may be considered under the following circumstances:
- The letter was never mailed due to an error on our part
- The letter was lost in the mail
- There was a significant delay (beyond 30 days of the scheduled mailing date) caused by us or the postal service
- You were incorrectly charged due to a technical issue
To request a refund, please contact us:
- For billing errors: Within 7 days of your billing date
- For delivery issues (lost, never mailed, or delayed letters): Within 30 days of your scheduled mailing date
Please reach out through our Contact Us page and we will review your case. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method.
Address & Delivery Issues
We are not responsible for incorrect or incomplete addresses provided at checkout. Please double-check your mailing details when placing your order. If a letter is returned to us due to an incorrect address, we cannot issue a refund, but we may resend it if the correct address is provided (additional shipping fees may apply).
